Kite Flying

I bought this Mickey Mouse kite at Wal-mart for $2.99. All you do is blow it up with the straw it comes with then attach the string, you're good to go.

There is nothing simpler or more fufilling :0)

Sesame Street Presents: The Body

If this exhibit is around your area, and you have a little one who just about worships Elmo then you have to go check this out! This was the very last day they were having the exhibit at Hollywood and Highland and we planned on going for awhile ago but something always came up. When we first entered it I must admit it was a smaller than I anticipated and very, very crowded (but thats what you get when you decide to go on the last day--). Overall the attractions were stimulating, fun for kids, and of course elmo filled. PLUS a live Elmo came out to meet, greet and take pictures with the kids. The ticket prices were considerably reasonable as well $10 for one child and one adult and $5 for an extra adult ticket.

Before they let us into the exhibit.

Tada!

After we went to eat at Johnny Rockets. This picture makes me smile.

Deal of the Week!

Every year right after each and every holiday Target whips out their 75%(or more) sale on those selected holiday items. I normally don't even bother especially after Easter?..I'll say a very huge polite NO THANK YOU to old chocolate easter eggs and melted gooey peeps. But I had some time on my hands and took a gander. Look what I found, a lovely vintage-y cake stand. For only 4 dollars and some change. Im ecstatic and wanted to share the good news with my Mark, who kindly RE-informed me I dont bake and was sure I didnt even know of a single cake recipe.. (isn't that what google is for?) anyway I was challenged to find a GOOD use for my stand. And I think I did pretty well...

It's a Conspiracy..

Why does it seem like Gymboree never fails to suck in 99.9% of the mommy population?? Sorry I couldn't help it!.. In order to stop myself from running out of the house at 12am and redeeming my gymbucks that are burning are HUGE hole in my pocket, I HAD to do this post.
My favorites (in no particular order):

From the Jungle Gem Line
I love the way it kinda looks like an apron & im a sucker for ruffles!
From the Desert Flower line
look at that neckline..do they make this in adult sizes? haha..

This dress is in the kids section;
a tad too big for my Jane but I love the detail and the colors
..she will grow into it.

New Pretties...

A quick peak into some of my mess...

In shop=)

Happy Easter!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter/Spring Vacation=)

Jane's Easter started a day early with a sweet homemade Easter basket from grandpa and grandma. Notice the home made bunny white chocolate lollipops.. oh man! toooo cute plus they were YUMMY!

Sunday we had ALL planned on going to church however, the little one just wouldnt budge out of bed so she stayed home with daddy. The service was beautiful. We sang, shared the pain and joy with Mary, and just rejoiced in the spirit of Easter and Passion week. Then it was time for the ultimate Easter egg hunt at my cousin Dawn's house.

Here they all are just before the festivities began.

Jane's cousin (twins) had shirts that read "thing1" and "thing 2" from Dr. Seuss they cracked me up! I mean come on, honestly.. Have you seen anything cuter? Jane was a natural at this egg hunt thing, we are talking about going professional (haha)

Here they are counting their loot

baby cousin Ashlyn (this was her first Easter)

The fun doesn't stop ;)

I left my Heart in San Francisco

This is a long one! My little sister had her spring break this week. Since we moved, we have not been able to see her and my mom too often so we ALL decided to take a fun road trip to san fran=) We left at 4 am and it took about 6 hrs to arrive (Jane slept most of the way up) we arrived at about 11am thank goodness for early check in! We stayed at the Doubletree hotel in Burlingham and were immediately greeted by warm chocolate chip cookies mmmm....

Downtown san fran.

Union square/Downtown Traffic was absolutely crazy! Pedestrians and bikers crossing the street out of nowhere. Buses everywhere cars parked in the middle of the streets!! (the only thing I wont miss;)

The Fishermans Wharf.
BOUDIN bakery and restaurant. If you are ever in San Francisco you HAVE to try this place. First of all it smells amazing and the famous clam chowder in a freshly baked bread bowl is to die for!

we took a boat ride that took us around the island under the Golden Gate Bridge and by Alcatraz.

Alcatraz.

The trip was too short! I love my family and enjoyed spending every minute of it with them:0)
